Joebstl Bulgaria took part in the annual international conference „Shortsea Conference“ – logistics and intermodal transport in Southeast Europe – 1-2 September in Plovdiv. Our company was represented by Todor Diankov (Managing Director Joebstl Bulgaria) as workshop moderator „Bulgarian Freight Transport Logistics Platform. Stakeholders outlook re partnership,cooperation,collaboration„ and Martin Eckerstorfer (Joebstl Bulgaria shareholder and CEO of LogCon East) as key note speaker on the topic „Intermodal Development Co Modality- Future of the Freight transport. Modal Shift Aim of the EU.Revision of the Combined Transport Directive“.
The conference outlined the guidelines of the development of intermodal transport in Bulgaria and the Balkan Peninsula. It was attended by the Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Ivaylo Moskovski, the executive directors of the ports of Ruse, Burgas and Kavala.
